Television energy rating system begins

A star-rating system like those in place for fridges, dishwashers and air-conditioners has been rolled out for TVs, allowing people to compare how energy efficient different TVs are.
The star-rating system for TVs will begin as a voluntary scheme before becoming compulsory in 2009. The more stars a TV has, the more energy efficient it is.
