An energy rater can advise you how to make your home more efficient and save you money.
Increase your rating to save
An energy rating, or star rating, for a house indicates how much energy would be needed to heat and cool the home. The higher the star rating, the more comfortable your home will be and the more money you'll save on energy bills. Higher star ratings also add to the value of your property.
Aim for at least 5 Stars
A building with the highest rating, 10 Stars, is unlikely to need any heating or cooling to stay warm in winter and cool in summer. In Victoria, all new homes are required to meet a 5 Star energy rating for the building fabric.
Use an accredited house energy rater
