Find an accredited thermal performance assessor
Accredited assessors are qualified to issue certified ratings of house plans for submission to Councils. Sustainability Victoria accredits these assessors to provide energy ratings for houses in Victoria.
Accredited assessors or their employers must be registered owners of FirstRate house energy rating software or its equivalent.
Accredited assessors have:
- proficiency in the FirstRate house energy rating software
- passed an exam in the FirstRate software and procedures
- several ratings checked for accuracy each year
- agreed to operate under a Code of Conduct.
