Education for Sustainability
Sustainability Victoria, as chair of the Sustainability in Schools State Steering Committee, is responsible for providing strategic leadership to all involved in Education for Sustainability (EfS) in the schools sector via collaborative and consultative processes.
Adopting a whole-school or whole-organisation approach is the most effective, sustainable and realistic way to embed EfS into your organisation's vision and ethos, daily practices, curriculum and links to the broader community.
This approach involves engaging a variety of members from the education organisation in the planning, implementation and reviewing in a participatory action research cycle of continuous improvement. It is not the only way, however, to achieve results and to improve sustainable practices in your school or campus.
