Recycle used equipment when you can

Donate equipment for reuse by another business or community group. But you should also consider how they will dispose of it when it's no longer in use.

Find a recycler who can recycle the equipment. Depending on your location and quantities there may be a charge for this service. Schools can use the Byteback service to recycle equipment.

Dispose of consumables responsibly

Make sure any consumables such as ink and toner cartridges or batteries are disposed of separately.

Identify a local supplier that recycles suitable toner and ink cartridges and arrange with them to pick up/drop off and replace cartridges.
