Help Victorian households take action on climate change

The Sustainability Fund has announced the launch of its 2009 Climate Change and Victorian Households Funding Round is now open. To find out more please visit the Sustainability Victoria website (see link at bottom of page).

The Victorian Government Sustainability Fund supports sustainability projects in schools, businesses, local government and community groups across Victoria.

Projects supported through this fund deliver practical and affordable solutions to tackle climate change and help Victoria reduce its environmental impact. Since its establishment in 2002, the Sustainability Fund has provided over $61.3 million in funding to support 166 diverse projects across Victoria.  

Round Three of the Victorian Government Sustainability Fund was announced in April 2008, 37 projects will share in $7.24 million in suppport from the fund. Funded projects include:

  • environmentally friendly retirement villages
  • a model ecomuseum
  • innovative energy and water saving cleaning processes in milking dairies
  • a new green office relocation service.
