Recycle computers and accessories with Byteback™

PC recycling- Make smarter computer recycling decisions for a healthier world
Making smarter choices about computer recycling is simple, yet contributes significantly to a cleaner world. You'll find that it takes no more time or effort to develop and implement pc recycling in your household or workplace- however, the small changes you do make to your pc recycling habits will have a lasting and ongoing benefit on the environment.
Byteback™ is a free computer recycling service that lets Victorian residents and small businesses dispose of old, unwanted and non-functioning computers safely.
If the equipment you want to get rid of is still in good working order, you might want to consider donating it to a charity, organisation or person who is able to reuse it.
After collection, equipment is transported to a specialised electronic recycling and recovery centre. Equipment is disassembled into its parts (plastic, precious metals, batteries, cathode ray tubes, printed circuit boards, insulated wiring) and sent off to various parts of Australia and the world for recovery and recycling, keeping valuable materials and toxic chemicals out of landfill.
